Paul Evans makes IAM Hall of Honour

European moving stalwart Paul Evans was awarded a place in the International Movers Association (IAM) Hall of Honour during the IAM Convention, for his pivotal contribution to the industry.

Evans started his career in the 1960s as an owner-operator. He founded Trans Euro Worldwide Movers in 1973, and also built the industry’s first automated fire-safe warehouse.

He acquired Interdean-Interconnex in 2005 and rebuilt the company, eventually selling Interdean to EAC (Santa Fe Relocation). He later acquired Momentous Relocation, Gerson Relocation and Abels Moving Services, creating the AGM Group.

In addition to his industry work, Evans has been a prolific fundraiser for terminal illness support charity Marie Curie Cancer Care.
