US military contract to start earlier

The long-awaited single-provider contract for US military moves will be implemented during mid-May to September next year, rather than in the autumn as previously stated.

The Commander of US Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) advised of the change, according to Military Times.

The announcement of the successful provider is due in September, after it was delayed after the Government Accountability Officer upheld protests from two unsuccessful bidders.
