Mobility tech platform wins investor funding

Tech start up Localyze has secured US12 million of funding for its Software as a Service (Saas) mobility platform.

The German venture, founded in 2018 by Hanna Asmussen (CEO), Lisa Dahlke (COO) and Franzi Löw (CTO), aims to give companies a straightforward way to manage international employee relocations and hiring.

The latest round of funding was led by Blossom Capital, with the involvement of others, including Frontline Ventures and a number of ‘angel investors’.

The company told news website Tech Crunch it is growing by more than 30 per cent month on month, with demand for its services increasing.

The business currently focuses on relocations into and within Europe, with Germany, Ireland, Spain and the UK the main destinations. It is also looking for expansion in these markets and into the Netherlands and Portugal.

Asmussen predicts both the company’s customer base of 120 and team of 25 will double by the end of the year.
