Further global travel restrictions lifted

Constraints on international travel appear to be easing, with the announcement of significant relaxations on COVID restrictions in the past month.

These include a change in France, which has removed all remaining countries from its ‘red list’ and scrapping the testing requirement for vaccinated arrivals from some countries.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister of Australia Scott Morrison has announced the country was opening to fully vaccinated visa holders, including tourists, from February 21. Its borders have been closed for almost two years.

FIDI – which is holding its conference in Cannes, France, on April 10 to 13, 2022 – welcomed the developments.

The Early Bird registration rate for the FIDI Conference ends on February 28.
