SIRVA and BGRS have finalised their merger, following regulatory approval of the deal announced on May 6 this year.
In a short statement announcing the completion, Tom Oberdorf, CEO of the newly formed company SIRVA BGRS, said the business is now ‘the industry’s most capable, knowledgeable, scalable, and experienced relocation management company, well-positioned to serve clients with capabilities spanning the globe’.
Managers have spent the time since the merger was announced planning details of how the two companies will be integrated, he added.
‘Now, we can start implementing those plans and drill down into each business area with an objective to identify opportunities, design more scalable solutions, and offer a stronger, more integrated and connected supply chain,’ he said. ‘Our goal is to provide clients with the best supply chain available, leveraging our collective expertise and industry leadership.’
