#SUSTAINABLEMOVES TAKING ON SUSTAINABILITY TOGETHER THE FUTURE IS GREEN An update on FIDI 39 Clubs Global Green Initiative, by 39 Club Board member Michael Hughes T MICHAEL HUGHES, FIDI 39 CLUB BOARD MEMBER he Global Green Initiative (GGI) was launched in 2019 as a joint sustainability initiative by the FIDI 39 Club, the IAM YP and LACMAnext. The project leadership team currently comprises Ashley Gorb, from Atlas International, board member at the IAM YP, Daniela Krumdiek, of Express Transports,President at LACMANext, and Michael Hughes, from the Arpin Group and FIDI 39 Club Board member. However, we dont want to stop there we want you to get involved too. Together, we are establishing new trends and syncing up better than ever with our organisations to steer the focus towards sustainability. As a wonderful friend of mine commented, sustainability isnt something we outsource; its something we internalise. Our aim and our focus is to bring continuity across FIDI, IAM and LACMA, promoting and driving sustainable themes. We love to focus and celebrate projects that everyone can join look at the beach cleanup photos from the FIDI Conference in Cannes, or from LACMA in Miami. As we head towards the 2022 World Cleanup Day on 17 September alongside more than 60 million volunteers in 191 countries the GGI team will release a special inside look from each organisations leadership every month, to inspire and engage our industry.
