L IGH T E R S I D E PMR head bags business awards Aakanksha Bhargava, CEO of New Delhibased PM Relocations Pvt. Ltd. (PMR), has been honoured with three business leadership awards. Bhargava was awarded the Business World (BW) Young Leader of the Year (under 40) accolade at the BW Emerging Businesses Awards, Entrepreneur of the Year at the Entrepreneur India Awards, and Best Woman Entrepreneur of the Year at the Outlook Business Excellence Awards. The annual jury-based awards celebrate the achievements of individuals who have displayed exceptional leadership, innovation and impact within their respective fields. According to PMR, Bhargavas leadership has generated more than 100 per cent growth for the company during the past three years, with revenue of more than two billion rupees ($US24m). The company says it is the only international moving firm to have earned the award. The certification is given based on extensive employee feedback and a comprehensive assessment of workplace dynamics. Ninety per cent of the companys workforce said the firm was a Great Place to Work, a statistic the company said was achieved thanks to its commitment to ensuring every member feels valued, heard and inspired to give their best. Setting the BAR high Some of John Masons Liverpool team with the certificates With the British Association of Movers Conference running consecutively with the annual FIDI Conference next year, this blast from the past arrived in the Lighter Side inbox. The advert features the late Gethin Dalton and Denis Kaye, and highlights the pairs attendance at both events, which took place in Jersey and Helsinki in the 1970s. Next years FIDI Conference will be held in Edinburgh from 12-15 May 2024, followed by the BAR Conference in Glasgow from 16-18 May 2024.
