The eagerly awaited results of the 2023 FIDI Conference golf competition have been released.
Mary Graebel won the event, which was held at the unique 72-par Nikanti golf course in West Bangkok, based on the 6-6-6 concept that takes inspiration from the six senses in Buddhism. Mary was followed closely by Asian Tigers’ Rob Chipman and Florine Eikenaar of Curaçao-based AGS Meyer.
The final leaderboard was as follows:
· 1st: Mary Graebel – 40 points
· 2nd: Rob Chipman (Asian Tigers Group) – 39 points (better on count-back)
· 3rd: Florine Eikenaar (AGS Meyer, Curaçao) – 39 points
· 4th: Eric Lim (Asian Tigers Group & FIDI Past president) – 37 points (better on count-back)
· 5th: Andrew Chng (Vanpac International, Singapore) – 37 points
Novelty prizes on the day were:
· Longest drive: Rob Chipman, Asian Tigers Hong Kong and FIDI Past President
· Nearest the pin (1): Dees Peters, owner and CEO, Atlas International Movers (the Netherlands)
· Nearest the pin (2): Francis Toedtli, Managing Director, Trafimar (Mexico)
Asian Tigers provided a sleeve of golf balls for all participants in the competition.
