Aires launches voice-activated relocation assistance

Aires has launched a customer support service connected to Amazon’s voice-activated Alexa.

Aires Voice Assistant (AVA) allows relocating employees to ask their Alexa devices questions about their relocations and other related information. This includes status of shipments, purchases and reimbursements, and tax queries.

Anand Diraviyam, Director of Product Strategy and Management at Aires said: ‘Aires Voice Assistant provides an additional self-service avenue to transferees, providing information about their move and access to specialists when they need it. We are excited about the opportunity to improve the customer experience and provide products that our transferees are already accustomed to in the consumer space.’

The development of AVA was inspired by an idea by Vaida Paulauskaite, Director of Client Services at Aires, during an internal technology innovation challenge.

Paulauskaite said: ‘Everyone in the organisation was encouraged to come up with their most innovative ideas. Alexa has remained very popular; this prompted me to think of ways we could tap into that technology. I’m so excited to see this idea become a reality.’

AVA is available on Amazon Alexa Skill store.
