Franzosini International Movers has announced a joint venture with Mercier srl, in a move designed to strengthen both the Milan-based businesses.
According to FEDEMAC, the two companies will operate under a parent company called FMN Logistics and share resources and infrastructure in Naples, Milan and Rome, following collaborative efforts they established during the pandemic.
Franzosini said in a statement: ‘The goal of this merger is to be more present on the marketplace and become a leader in this sector and a reference point for Italy as a whole. In this sense, the merger will create a moving company with a 360-degree reach: from relocations, domestic and international removals, industrial heavy equipment transport, artworks and much more.’
Franzosini was established in 1845 and is a member of FIDI; Franzosini and Mercier are members of the Harmony Relocation Network.
