Transworld International founders Rijish AV and Prakash K have teamed up with the former CEO of Interem Relocations, Rahul Pillai, to launch a new online-only digital service they believe will revolutionise the moving market in India.
Hybrid Shifting Solutions India Pvt. Ltd. (HSSIPL) will be based on a ‘robust technology platform’, with the aim of ‘enhancing the network and infrastructure’ and expanding services. It will have a presence in 100 Indian cities in the coming year, creating what would be India’s largest moving network.
Transworld said its partners ‘will now have the additional advantage of an expanded service and contemporary digital technologies to bring transparency and convenience to the forefront of the customer experience’.
Transworld has made an initial investment of US$2.5m to the project with an additional $10m committed in cash and infrastructure.
